Slormancer is one of those pixel-art action RPGs that just clicks with you. The chaotic combat, the crazy loot, the deep customization—it kept me hooked for hours. But if I’m being honest, as much as I love the game, it can feel like an endless grind at times.
So, like many of you might’ve done before, I turned to an old friend: Cheat Engine. Not because I wanted to ruin the game—but because I wanted to reshape it to better suit how I like to play. And yeah, there’s something really satisfying about tinkering, modding, and bending the rules just a little to make the game more fun on my terms.

But before we jump in, let me say this: cheating can easily kill the magic. Even in a single-player game like Slormancer, going too far too fast can make things boring real quick. So please, treat this guide like a toolbox, not a magic wand. Use it with intention—and know that once you cross that line, there’s no “un-seeing” the shortcuts.
A Note on Credits
Much of what I’ll share here comes from the brilliant minds over at the FearLess Cheat Engine forums, specifically the Slormancer thread. Big shoutout to aSwedishMagyar for his/her incredible work on the table. All I’ve done is curate what worked for me, and wrapped it into a guide so you don’t have to dig through 14+ pages yourself.
Part 1: Manual Cheats (No Table Needed)
Let’s start simple—no Cheat Engine table yet.
There are two main currencies in the game: Goldus (gold) and Slorm. You can search for both in Cheat Engine using the “Double” value type. They’re crucial if you’re into crafting powerful builds, and trust me, you’ll need a lot.
What else uses “Double” values?
- Fragments
- Slormites
- Spirits
- Other crafting mats
Tip: Sometimes, manual searches don’t show any results on the first try. For example, when merging Fragments to get a Slormline, my first scan gave me zero hits. But repeating the same process again gave me the correct value. It’s weird, but it works—don’t give up too soon.
Part 2: Leveling Skills and Beyond Limits
Other fun things to modify:
- Ultimatum Level – (Double type)
- Rune Level – (Double type)
- Ancestral Gifts / Skill Ranks – (Double type)
Normally, Ultimatum caps at level 15. With Cheat Engine? You can bump it to 100 or beyond. Just be careful: if you push Ultimatums or Runes too far, there’s no easy way to decrease them back to normal. On the other hand, Ancestral Gifts are more flexible—you can raise and lower them freely.

Part 3: Going Deeper with Cheat Engine Table
Now for the real magic—the Cheat Engine table by aSwedishMagyar.
You can download it here. Once loaded, you’ll see dozens of features, but I’ll focus on what matters most: farming insane gear.
Step 1: Modify Loot Parameters
- Go to the Scripts section.
- Find “Modify Equipment Loot Parameters” and expand it.
- Change “Quality” from
10000000
(default) to something more reasonable like10000
.
Why lower it? Because we want Epic rarity items instead of Legendary. Sounds backward, but Epic gear rolls more Pure Stats, which is key to building broken stuff (more on that soon).
Part 4: Fix the Loot Settings Script
Before farming, we need to tweak the script so it works correctly with the current game version.
Here’s how:
- Go to Pointers → “Game Shop/Loot Settings Pointers”
- Right-click → “Change Script”
- Scroll to the bottom and find this block:
luaCopyEditif syntaxcheck then return end
[ENABLE]
populateSettings(memrec,6)
[DISABLE]
removeRecords(memrec)
- Change the
6
to13
like this:
luaCopyEditif syntaxcheck then return end
[ENABLE]
populateSettings(memrec,13)
[DISABLE]
removeRecords(memrec)
Tested with table version: 05-08-2024 (0.9.2f – EXP) on game version 1.0.2.

Part 5: Pure Stat Farming Settings
After updating the script, go back to “Game Shop/Loot Settings Pointers” and change the following:
Pure Chance epic
→ 100Pure Chance legendary
→ 100Pure Chance magic
→ 100Pure Chance normal
→ 100Pure Chance rare
→ 100Pure Max Stats
→ change from 3 to 9Temple Upgrade 4 Upgrade
→ change from 0.45 to 100 (or even higher)
Why care about Pure Max Stats
? Because Legendary items only roll 3 Pure Stats, while Epic items can go up to 9 if you tweak this properly. Combine this with high loot chance settings, and you’ll get gear that looks like it came straight from a god.
Now here’s the wild part:
Temple Upgrade 4 Upgrade
→ change from 0.45 to 100
This one’s worth playing around with. Personally, I find 90 to 100 to be the sweet spot. But if you’re feeling extra chaotic, crank it to 1000 or more.
You’ll end up with ridiculous bonuses like +90000% Cooldown Reduction, +Gazillion HP, or other stat boosts that make you feel like you’re playing Slormancer on god-mode.
The beauty of this approach is: if you go overboard, you’re not locked in. Unlike cheating Ultimatum or Rune levels, you can always destroy or sell overpowered gear and dial it back if things start feeling too easy.
Final Thoughts: Why I Cheat (And Why You Should Be Careful)
I know some people will roll their eyes at cheating, and I get it. But for me, it’s not about breaking the game—it’s about reshaping it into something I enjoy more.
Slormancer is a brilliant game, but sometimes you just want to skip the grind and get to the fun stuff: the builds, the theorycrafting, the dopamine of pure chaos. If that’s you, then I hope this guide helps.
Just remember: once you cheat, you can’t un-cheat. Pace yourself. And when the fun starts to fade, take a step back.
Happy hacking, and may your Slorm overflow.
